Blade Sign Committee

The Blade Sign Committee was tasked to design a distinctive symbol that would represent The Mesa neighborhood and establish a brand for our unique community. The old Gate House entrance on West El Portal, built in 1926 by Lee Miller, was the original entrance to The Mesa and was chosen by The Blade Sign Committee as the symbol that best represented the unique character and history of our community and should be included in the design of our new neighborhood signs. The Blade Sign Committee is partnering with the City of Palm Springs to finish designing and installing the distinctive symbols to reinforce our neighborhood identity to our residents and visiting guests. Plan to attend the special event, on a date soon to be announced, that will celebrate the distinctive signs being installed in our community. The blade signposts will crown the existing street signs with our distinctive neighborhood symbol that will further reinforce our community as a unique place to live.
